My mum has been my rock since I was young, helping me navigate every stage of my epilepsy journey, and over the past 20 years, my husband and children have been incredible too. They know the signs when I might be about to have a seizure, understand my triggers, and have always made me feel safe, supported, and never alone. Epilepsy can be a scary and lonely journey, so having even one person you can talk to and rely on makes all the difference, and I am so incredibly grateful for my family.
